  2. Now mix by hand make a soft dough and gress the hand by ghee now make the small balls, now heat the ghee fry all the balls in middum hot ghee and keep stirring it with a spoon
  3. Now all the balls are ready now we will make sugar syrup for Sugar syrup take 2 cup water and 2 1/2 cup water and melts it now add cardamom powder saffron threads and lime juice now cook for 7-8 minutes
  4. Now transfer the balls in sugar syrup and let it be in the syrup for 2 -3 hours and serve hot

It is very famous & is enjoyed in most festive and celebration meals. Traditionally gulab jamun were made using khoya i.e milk solids as the main ingredient. But khoya is not available in many places and is very tedious to make at home. Gulab Jamun is one of India's most popular sweet. These deep-fried dumplings/donuts made of dried milk [khoya] are dipped in a rose-cardamom flavored sugar syrup and make quite a treat.
