The ingredients needed to make Peanut chikki:
  1. Make ready 200 gm Peanut
  2. Get 200 gm Jaggery
  3. Get 1-2 tbsp Ghee
  4. Take sheet Butter paper & plastic

It's made with peanuts, jaggery and nothing else really. It's a staple in Indian homes during winters and one of my personal favorite. Ever since I can remember, I have been obsessed with chikki. Peanut chikki are brittle bars of roasted peanuts with jaggery and are a popular street snack of India.

Instructions to make Peanut chikki:
  1. Roasted peanut in low medium flame, when like little brown than off the flame and remove cover and keep clean aside. Than greasing the ½ teaspoon butter/oil/ghee on plastic sheets and butter paper, keep aside. In a pan with low flame add jaggery.
  2. Stir continuously jaggery and cook for 20-25mints in low flame.check it every 5mints with the help of water. when bubbles size small and check it to like hard than it's perfect cooked. After add roasted peanut and mix well for 1-2mints than off the flame.
  3. Than it spread on butter paper and cover it plastic sheets. Remember it's all proses doing when mixture is little warm. Than roll it with round shape/other shape to choice and remove plastic sheets and than cut into pieces to favourite shapes than it cool for 5-10 mints. After than all cut pieces keep in a serving plate and serve it very delicious.
