Pavlova is one of the most popular of recent trending meals in the world. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. It is easy, it’s quick, it tastes yummy. They are nice and they look fantastic. Pavlova is something that I have loved my whole life.

Sprinkle the parchment paper with cornstarch to help the pavlova come off easily. If you want to sweeten the heavy whipping cream, you can sprinkle a little confectioners sugar in it. In order to help prevent cracking, the pavlova should be left in the oven to cool. Just turn it off and leave it in there for at least an hour.

The ingredients needed to make Pavlova:
  1. Make ready Large Egg Whites
  2. Prepare Caster Sugar
  3. Take Cornflour

  7. Take *e.g. Strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries, Kiwi Fruit, Pineapple, Mango, Passionfruit, etc

With mixer running, add sugar in three additions, beating until meringue is stiff and glossy. Sprinkle in cornstarch, vinegar, and vanilla; gently fold to combine. And just like our meringue recipe, it's surprisingly simple to make. Turn the oven off and leave the pavlova inside for an hour or overnight to dry.

Instructions to make Pavlova:
  1. Preheat oven to 120C. Line a tray with baking paper.
  2. Using an electric mixer, whisk Egg Whites in a clean & dry bowl until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually add Caster Sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating well until meringue is thick and glossy and sugar is well dissolved. Add the Vinegar and Cornflour and fold until just combined.
  4. Spoon the meringue onto the lined tray and shape into a 15 to 20cm disc. Bake for 1 hour or until dry to the touch. Turn off oven and leave, with the door ajar, to cool completely.
  5. Whip Cream until thick. Spoon on top of pavlova and decorate with fresh fruit of your choice. Serve immediately.

And just like our meringue recipe, it's surprisingly simple to make. Turn the oven off and leave the pavlova inside for an hour or overnight to dry. To assemble, whip the cream, vanilla & icing sugar until just stiff. Spoon the cream into the trench in the meringue.
